Did you know?
The booster club helps support the teams in many important ways by:

Contributes to the cost of supplies/equipment needed that would not be available if the schools budget were the only source of funding.
Provides snacks for both the visiting team and Simley teams' student-athletes after home meets.
Financing the yearly updating of the All-American and Hall of Fame displays at the Grove.
Providing the "Team Spirit" award at the banquet every year.
Providing a web site which summarizes highlights and updates of both the girls and boys swimming and diving teams and the AquaFan activities.
Helps defray the costs of the teams competition swim suits.
Pays for the hotel expenses for the overnight invitational.
Puts on the 5th and 6th grade swimming and diving event every May.
Pays for the athletes and coaches to attend the All-State banquet.
Pays for the coaches clinic to further the coaching staffs' knowledge.
Helps insure that all the athletes are able to attend the team banquet by paying 1/2 the athlete's cost of attending.
Creates "Spartan Spirit" by wearing blue and red at the meets by making the athletes aware of the enthusiastic support in the stands. Fan support can make a big difference.

  • The Simley Swimming and Diving Booster Club is a nonprofit organization established to promote participation and achievement in the swimming and diving team of Simley High School and IGH Middle School. Established in 1993, the organization strives to assist the swimmers and divers, coaches, and the district in their activities related to the swimming and diving program.  A major goal of the organization is to provide funding for those activities and for the purchase of team equipment. Membership in the Booster Club and AquaFan club provides an opportunity to build friendships with the other parents whose children are involved in swimming and diving. 

Booster Club membership is open to any parent or guardian of a Simley High school or Inver Grove Middle school swimmer or diver.  The club meets the first Monday at 6:30 p.m. of every month (except July) at the Grove in Room 2 in the Vets.
