Dual Meets: Each diver does 6 dives- 1 voluntary and 5 optional from at least 4 different groups Invitationals: 5 voluntary dives and 6 optional dives with one from each group needed. The dives for each round are determined by the total number of divers. |

Each team member may enter a maximum of 4 events, of which no more than 2 may be individual events. (This means a swimmer could compete in 2 relays and 2 individual events or 3 relays and 1 individual event.)
Scoring for diving: Three judges’ scores are added together and multiplied by the degree of difficulty to obtain the points for each dive. If 5 judges are scoring, the top and bottom score are eliminated and the middle three are used.

In Championship meets with prelims and finals, if you swim in the consolation heat you can not place higher than the top place in the consolation heat even if your time is faster than someone in the championship heat.
TRUE TEAM SECTIONS & STATE MEET SCORING
Every team member scores in True Team competition. Scoring is based upon how many teams are in the meet. Each team is allowed to have 4 entries per event (including relays). So, for example, if there are 8 teams in the meet then there are 32 entries per event. Therefore 32nd place is 1 point, 31st is 2 points,… to 1st place being 32 points. Relays are double the points.
